Student at CSUN

Bartender/Server

Growing up in a low-income family, through numerous amounts of adversity I vigorously push myself to attain success. My most notable success growing up as an adolescent is when I received a Ventura County Write-Off Award in 2011 which I received at California State University Channel Islands. Throughout High School I maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher as a Student-Athlete and I was regarded a Top 10 Student in my Sophomore Year. I graduated High School in 2015 and enrolled in California State University Northridge later in the Fall establishing myself as the first in my family to attend a University in the United States. During the course of my years of development into becoming independent and providing myself with my own source of income, I've learned a lot from the past jobs from a retrospective point of view. I've become familiarized with the Retail Environment acknowledging the importance of sales, and I've gone through the rigorous workload of working in the Restaurant Business both Back and Front of the House. I grew more as an introverted person but having experiences where these jobs emphasize social communications with people, I am more sociable with others and enjoy doing so. I am currently enjoying my job as a Bartender/Server, but I am determined to pursue my goal of achieving my B.S. in C.I.T and attaining a job within the field.
